Hi Eric,
A few of us had been looking into making some hoodies for
Teresa's study group.
Last year the idea of having a stylised image of you on the back
was presented and we thought this was a great idea.
Although it was never adopted, we would now like to make ones
just for our study group to wear.
We were hoping that you would give us permission to use an image
of you.
A mock up of the stylised image has been done:
http://www.diggering.co.uk/eric/
We were also hoping, on the front, to have the old Uni logo for
nostalgia, although I have yet to get permission for this, and
maybe some general text, like "No I will not fix your computer".
If you feel uncomfortable with this or don't want this to
happen, please feel free to say no, with no hard feelings :)
Of course, you would be entitled to a free hoodie!
Thanks for your time,
Alistair Brown

Alistair
It is brilliant! I really enjoy daft/fun stuff like this. The
best bit is that it makes me look good!! Do use it any way you
wish.
Any ideas on getting this year's Part I students into study
groups would be very welcome.
Best regards
Eric

Hello,
I was wondering if you would be able to advise me on how to go
about using the University of Southampton dolphin logo.
I was hoping to make t-shirts or hoodies for a study group that
I am currently involved in, having this logo on the front.
However, I am aware that I would need written permission to use
this logo as it is copyrighted.
After looking on the website for contact details in regards to
copyright use, I was unable to find anything.
I had hoped that someone in the Students' Union would know what
to do or how to contact someone.
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Alistair Brown

Dear Michelle Newton,
I was wondering if you would be able to advise me on how to go
about getting permission to use the old University of
Southampton logo.
After trying to contact both the Students' Union and Student
Services by email, I went to see the Students' Union IT, Media &
Marketing Department.
Vicky McManace from IMM gave me your details in the hope that
you could help.

Hi Alistair
Unfortunately I will not be able to give you permission to use
the old University of Southampton logo as this is currently not
in use. All material coming from the University has to have the
new branded logo on and we do not endorse any off brand logos or
images using the dolphin.
Regards
Michelle

Someone might need to give me a nice font to do the text in.
Does the text look ok there? You don't want it on the pouch?

Do we want Eric on the back or on the front?
